A leading global travel technology company has announced the integration of British Airways’ New Distribution Capability (NDC) content into Sabre’s travel marketplace. Starting immediately, Sabre-connected travel agencies worldwide can access, book, and manage NDC offers alongside traditional ATPCO/EDIFACT options.
With this NDC integration, agencies can easily handle British Airways’ offers and orders using Sabre Red 360, Sabre Red Launchpad™, and the Sabre Offer and Order APIs. Sabre’s multi-source content approach ensures smooth integration of NDC and traditional options, providing a unified shopping experience that enhances workflows and boosts productivity.
Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, expressed, “At British Airways, we aim to offer a seamless digital-first retailing experience, and we are excited to extend our exclusive NDC content through Sabre’s platform. This will give agencies more ways to search, book, and manage our offers while delivering a personalized experience to customers worldwide.”
Kathy Morgan, Senior Vice President of Distribution Experience at Sabre, added, “Sabre is proud to lead in NDC adoption with advanced technology that helps our customers evolve with the industry. Our partnership with British Airways showcases our commitment to providing a modern travel marketplace with the most comprehensive content available.”
Currently, thousands of agencies in over 150 countries use Sabre’s NDC features to search, book, and manage dynamic airline content. The addition of British Airways’ NDC offers gives travel sellers access to more personalized deals, helping them stay competitive and deliver excellent value to customers.
