Hong Kong — AXA Hong Kong & Macau (AXA) has joined forces with Trip.com, a leading travel services provider, to introduce a new travel insurance product designed to offer comprehensive coverage for travelers. The new product, branded as “Trip.com Travel Smart,” comes with three plan options: One-way Trip, Round-trip Lite, and Round-trip Deluxe.
The Travel Smart plans provide extensive coverage, including medical expenses and personal accidents up to $190 million (HK$1.5 million) and personal liability coverage up to $260 million (HK$2 million). Additional protections include coverage for baggage loss, trip delays, and cancellations due to adverse weather conditions.
Travelers can easily purchase the Travel Smart insurance through Trip.com’s website or mobile app, integrating the insurance purchase seamlessly into the flight booking process with just a single click.
Furthermore, customers who purchase coverage for standalone trips will earn Trip Coins, which can be used for various travel services on the Trip.com platform. This feature aims to enhance the travel experience by providing additional value and convenience to Trip.com users.
