Bali, recently recognized as Asia’s most beautiful island, was one of the top 10 most searched outbound destinations by Vietnamese travelers during the five-day holidays marking Reunification Day and Labor Day (April 30 – May 1).
Known for its rich cultural heritage, Bali blends Hindu-Balinese traditions with captivating rituals, intricate dances, and ancient temples, making it a popular destination for cultural tourism.
In light of recent incidents, Bali authorities have pledged to improve safety for foreign tourists by introducing new guidelines to curb inappropriate behavior.
Bali was named Asia’s most beautiful island at this year’s Reader’s Choice Awards by DestinAsian magazine, adding to its recognition in October 2024 when it received the same title from readers of Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
The island welcomed 6.3 million international visitors in 2024, surpassing pre-pandemic levels, and is aiming for 6.5 million visitors in 2025.
Meanwhile, Bangkok was the most searched destination during the holiday period, followed by Singapore.
