South Korea will host a series of events welcoming international tourists from April 25 to May 16 as part of the 2025 Korea Welcome Week, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced Monday.
The event coincides with key holiday periods, including Japan’s Golden Week, China’s Labor Day, and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit’s senior officials’ meeting, which will be held on the resort island of Jeju. These dates align with peak times for foreign arrivals.
The Korea Welcome Week aims to enhance travel convenience and offer a positive experience for visitors, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Visit Korea Committee.
