Sofia, Bulgaria – Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry has advised citizens to avoid traveling to Israel and Palestine due to the rapidly evolving security situation in the Middle East.

In a statement released on July 31, the ministry urged Bulgarian nationals currently in the region to adhere to recommendations posted on its website. The ministry also encouraged those in Israel or Palestine to register with Bulgaria’s diplomatic missions in Tel Aviv or Ramallah and provide their current contact details if necessary.

This advisory follows an earlier statement on July 29, which highlighted the cancellation of several flights to and from Beirut due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East.
