The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities launched the 2025 edition of the “Our Jordan is Paradise” program on Thursday. This year’s program comes in a new format aimed at boosting domestic tourism and encouraging citizens to discover a wide range of destinations across the Kingdom’s governorates.
Fadi Balawi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, is overseeing the program as head of its committee. The 2025 edition focuses on promoting experiences that showcase the cultural and social identities of local communities.
The ministry highlighted the success of the 2024 program, which attracted 311,000 participants, reflecting the growing interest in local tourism and confidence in the program’s quality and affordability.
As part of its updated strategy, the ministry has improved the program’s digital platform and expanded its itineraries to include a wider variety of destinations, such as religious, natural, and cultural sites, as well as different events. The number of tourist attractions featured in the program has now surpassed 100. The enhancements also aim to enrich visitor experiences by adding museums, archaeological sites, and visitor centers to the program.
