SUNRATE, an intelligent global payment and treasury management platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Outpayce from Amadeus to enhance and automate B2B payments for travel companies worldwide, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

As part of this collaboration, travel sellers, including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and Travel Management Companies (TMCs), will have the capability to generate and utilize SUNRATE’s virtual cards for their business payment needs. These needs encompass payments to airlines, hotels, and other suppliers through the Outpayce B2B Wallet.

This partnership leverages a new strategic relationship to provide a fast, secure, and automated payment solution via the Outpayce B2B Wallet, utilizing virtual payment technology offered through Mastercard. This will enable travel sellers to scale and expand seamlessly within the APAC region, as SUNRATE’s virtual cards support the settlement of card spending in over 15 currencies.

Coco He, General Manager of SUNRATE, stated, “SUNRATE remains committed to continuously innovating our online travel solution offerings. This partnership with Outpayce puts us firmly on track to be the one-stop B2B partner for the travel industry.”

Claudio Santos, Head of Commercial, Travel Sellers at Outpayce from Amadeus, added, “At Outpayce, we are dedicated to providing a wide range of virtual card options within the B2B Wallet, enabling agencies to pay suppliers according to their strategy. SUNRATE-issued cards provide compelling new options across the APAC region that will benefit our travel seller community.”

SUNRATE is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1. With its global business headquarters in Singapore and offices in Hong Kong, Jakarta, London, and Shanghai, SUNRATE partners with major global financial institutions such as Citibank, Standard Chartered, Barclays, and J.P.
