As Labor Day weekend approaches, travelers are gearing up for what is anticipated to be a record-breaking holiday period.
Starting Thursday and extending through the following Wednesday, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) forecasts a significant increase in travel. Nearly 9% more travelers are expected this year, translating to approximately 17 million additional passengers undergoing screening at airports nationwide, including Midland International Air & Space Port.
For those planning to drive during the holiday weekend, it’s important to be aware of peak travel times to avoid congestion and ensure a smoother journey.
