Manila, Philippines — The City of Dreams Manila hosted the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony, marking the fourth segment of the WTA Grand Tour 2024. This global event, which spans six continents, honors outstanding achievements in the travel and tourism industry by recognizing brands that exemplify excellence and innovation.
Manila, a vibrant hub for business and leisure travelers, provided an ideal backdrop for the ceremony, showcasing the rich culture, history, entertainment, and nightlife of the Philippines. New Zealand was recognized for its diverse offerings, securing the title of “Oceania’s Leading Destination.” Sydney earned the accolade for “Oceania’s Leading City Destination,” while Aspire Lounge at Perth Airport Terminal 1 International was honored as Oceania’s Leading Airport Lounge for 2024.
