Mobi has unveiled its pioneering Intent Driven Search (IDS) technology, a breakthrough in travel planning powered by artificial intelligence. This innovative search and discovery tool integrates natural language search with generative AI and a global content store of points of interest to offer users the most suitable options for destinations, accommodations, and experiences.
Anna Jaffe, founder and CEO of Mobi, highlighted the industry’s shift towards natural language search through large language models (LLMs). “At Mobi, we utilize generative AI and LLMs to enhance natural language capabilities and decipher travel intentions. Our multimodal approach combines proprietary content with sophisticated planning and optimization AI to deliver precise recommendations tailored to users’ needs and preferences,” Jaffe explained.
According to Mobi, IDS processes and organizes data from various sources to deliver real-time, accurate information about locations and properties. The system can be integrated within approximately six weeks. IDS also adapts to user behavior and preferences by facilitating natural language queries, which aids travel brands in refining their communication and marketing strategies.
Harriet Brown, Mobi’s Vice President of Product, noted that IDS will enable hotels to offer personalized recommendations on destinations, properties, and activities by understanding guests’ intentions.
