Beginning in 2025, new travel regulations will come into effect for visitors to Europe, including British tourists following Brexit. Under these rules, travelers will be required to complete an online application, submit personal details, answer security questions, and pay a €7 fee.
Flora, a British resident and mother of two, is among those affected by the upcoming changes. “Traveling with kids is already challenging, and now we have to deal with extra paperwork,” she remarked. Flora and her partner Alexander, who are currently on a staycation in the UK, express frustration over the added complexity. Flora, a former advocate for remaining in the EU, views the new requirements as a disappointing reminder of the post-Brexit reality.
