Vietnam Airlines has announced the introduction of a non-stop service connecting Hanoi and Milan, set to commence on July 1, 2025. The new route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, utilizing Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
This new service complements the airline’s existing flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to major European cities such as Paris, Frankfurt, and London, with additional routes to Munich launching next month.
Vietnam holds the position of Italy’s largest trading partner within the ASEAN region, while Italy ranks as Vietnam’s fourth-largest trading partner in the European Union. The airline emphasized that the launch of flights to Milan reflects its commitment to enhancing its global network and strengthening economic, social, and political connections between Vietnam, Italy, and Europe.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates a comprehensive network of 100 routes, covering 21 domestic and 29 international destinations.
