Lagardère Travel Retail has expanded Hamburg Airport’s food and beverage offerings with the opening of four new outlets in Terminal 1. This development fulfills the contract awarded to the company during the food and beverage tender announced last November. Among the new venues are the proprietary concepts Marché Bistro and White Monkey Pizza Lab & Bar, alongside franchises Kaimug Taste Thai and Burger King.

Marché Bistro, a 161-seat restaurant covering over 300 square meters, boasts a prime location on the landside of T1, offering panoramic views of the airport and a live cooking area. Lagardère Travel Retail describes Marché Bistro as “inspired by the market halls of southern Europe and infused with the Mediterranean lifestyle,” providing a full sensory dining experience.

The menu primarily features Italian cuisine, including focaccia with salami and pistachio, various antipasti, and pasta dishes such as Bolognese and shrimp with tomato. Spanish influences are evident in the selection of tapas and desserts, including cakes and pastries, all prepared in front of guests. The beverage menu highlights homemade lemonade, specialty coffees, and fresh juices, ensuring a refreshing complement to the dining experience.
