Over 30 travel agencies from Hong Kong and Macau, including major players like China Southern Airlines and Hong Kong Airlines, have shown strong interest in exploring Cambodia’s tourism potential. This interest was expressed during a key meeting between Cambodia’s Minister of Tourism, Huot Hak, and prominent representatives from Hong Kong and Macau’s travel sectors.
The meeting, which included CEOs of well-known travel agencies, officials from the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Macau Special Administrative Region Tourism Office, highlighted Cambodia’s favorable political and economic stability, secure environment, and its rich tourism offerings. Minister Hak presented videos and photos showcasing Cambodia’s beautiful and significant tourist destinations, underscoring the country’s appeal as a travel hotspot.
As a result of the discussions, many companies indicated plans to visit Cambodia soon to explore its tourism destinations and create new tour packages for their customers.
