Saravana Kumar Kumaravasagam, the Consul General of Malaysia in Chennai, called this policy a “significant milestone” that strengthens ties between the two nations. Hishamuddin Mustafa, Tourism Malaysia’s Chennai Director, also highlighted how the visa exemption simplifies travel and makes Malaysia an even more attractive destination for Indian tourists.
