U.S. 191 Southbound Blocked Due to Obstruction and Severe Winds

Southbound U.S. 191 is closed Wednesday morning due to an obstruction, as reported by the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT).

The blockage is located approximately 10.5 miles north of the junction with U.S. 287 North. In addition, MDT has issued warnings about severe winds affecting the area between mileposts 3 and 39.6, particularly between mileposts 23.3 and 39.6. Drivers of high-profile vehicles are advised to avoid the route.

There is also a disabled vehicle in the northbound lane at milepost 13.
