The National Tourism Administration of Georgia recently participated in one of the world’s largest travel exhibitions, the New York Travel and Adventure Show, to promote the country’s diverse tourism offerings. Alongside regional partners, including the Adjara Tourism Department, the Imereti Destination Management Organisation, and a group of ten local private-sector companies, Georgia highlighted its key tourist attractions and products.
The event, which attracted around 25,000 attendees and 400 journalists, served as a platform for Georgia to engage with leading global tourism companies to discuss potential collaborations and boost tourist arrivals. Additionally, the Georgian delegation attended the International Media Marketplace conference, a key event connecting travel brands with media professionals. Here, they introduced Georgia’s tourist destinations to international travel journalists, influencers, and bloggers, aiming to raise awareness of the country’s growing tourism sector.
