Bespin Global announced on the 24th that it has developed and provided a specialized travel concierge artificial intelligence (AI) agent tailored for domestic tourism to the Seoul Tourism Foundation.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, South Korea welcomed approximately 16.3 million foreign visitors last year, a number that has been steadily rising since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors come from a variety of countries, including China, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States, with diverse preferences for tourist attractions, restaurants, and activities. This growing demand has highlighted the need for an AI-powered travel agent that can offer detailed information to foreign tourists in Seoul to boost the tourism market.
Bespin Global’s AI concierge was built using the LLM-based platform ‘HelpNow AI.’ It provides answers to questions about local attractions, restaurants, hotels, and performances. The service also includes personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and accommodations, as well as topic-based travel itineraries. Multilingual support is available in English, Japanese, and Chinese, with further enhancements planned to expand the service’s capabilities.
