Four of the top spring break destinations for 2025 are in Florida, but AAA warns that reaching them will come at a higher price this year. The leading Florida destinations are Orlando at No. 1, Fort Lauderdale at No. 2, Miami at No. 4, and Tampa at No. 8.
AAA reports that the average roundtrip airfare for domestic flights has risen by $820, marking a 7 percent increase compared to last year. For international destinations, the average airfare is now $1,440, a 2 percent rise.
Hotel stays in the U.S. are also seeing an 8 percent increase, averaging $660 per night. However, hotel stays abroad are slightly cheaper, with an average rate of $740, reflecting a 4 percent drop.
Cruise prices have also climbed, with domestic cruises rising by 27 percent and international cruises increasing by 3 percent. AAA advises travelers to plan ahead to secure the best deals for their spring break trips.
