Ride the World Motorcycle Tours has launched the Global Motorcycle Touring Network (GMTN) to unite and elevate the motorcycle touring industry. Founded by seasoned travel industry veterans and motorcycle enthusiasts, David Reeves and Walter Nand, GMTN brings together the world’s top independent motorcycle touring operators under one trusted network.
The network is committed to professionalism, safety, and ethical business practices. By forming a global alliance, GMTN ensures that operators uphold industry standards, support one another, and provide unforgettable experiences for riders. Membership is exclusive to fully insured, legally operating, and highly reputable companies, offering peace of mind to riders booking their next adventure.
Walter Nand, elected as the official GMTN Coordinator, will oversee the network’s growth and collaboration among members. Initial members include Ride the World Motorcycle Tours, Ride the World Australia, Freedom Biker Tours (Canada), D Tours (UK and Northern Europe), iRideArusha (Tanzania), and Satoshi Rides (Japan). More trusted operators are expected to join soon.
Walter Nand commented, “The launch of GMTN marks a significant milestone in the motorcycle touring industry. By bringing together operators who share a passion for adventure, safety, and exceptional service, we are creating a trusted network that benefits both tour providers and riders alike.”
