Commuters on the Piccadilly line are facing significant delays Thursday morning due to a faulty track at Cockfosters. Transport for London (TfL) has reported that staff are working to fix the issue, which is currently affecting the entire line.
While the Piccadilly line is disrupted, all other lines are operating normally. TfL has reminded passengers that tickets will be accepted on alternative services, including the Elizabeth Line, Great Northern, South Western Railway, Weaver Line, and local bus routes.
In addition, traffic on the M1 Northbound near Watford is also affected by a vehicle collision, which has caused one lane to be closed. Live updates indicate that there is congestion extending over a mile, leading to delays for motorists in the area.
