Sabre Corporation, a global leader in travel technology, has officially integrated British Airways’ New Distribution Capability (NDC) content into its expansive travel marketplace. This move enables Sabre-connected travel agencies worldwide to seamlessly explore, book, and manage British Airways’ NDC offerings alongside traditional ATPCO/EDIFACT inventory.
With the addition of NDC through Sabre, travel agencies can now handle British Airways’ dynamic offers and orders directly via Sabre Red 360, Sabre Red Launchpad™, and Sabre Offer and Order APIs. This integration, part of Sabre’s multi-source content strategy, ensures a smooth combination of NDC and traditional content, creating a unified shopping experience that enhances agency efficiency.
British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, Colm Lacy, shared: “At British Airways, we aim to provide customers with a seamless digital-first retail experience. We are excited to extend our exclusive NDC content to agencies worldwide using Sabre’s technology, giving agencies more ways to search, book, and service our offers, all while providing a more personalized experience for customers globally.”
Kathy Morgan, Senior Vice President, Distribution Experience at Sabre Travel Solutions, stated, “Sabre is proud to continue leading NDC adoption by offering advanced technology solutions that help our customers keep up with industry changes. Our collaboration with British Airways highlights our commitment to building a modern travel marketplace with the most comprehensive content portfolio available.”
Sabre’s NDC capabilities are already used by thousands of agencies in over 150 countries, allowing them to efficiently search, book, and manage dynamic airline content. With British Airways’ NDC content now available, travel sellers can access more personalized offers, helping them remain competitive while delivering exceptional value to travelers.
