AirAsia is advising passengers traveling during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive period, especially between March 28 and April 5, 2025, to follow its travel guidelines for a smooth journey.
The airline strongly encourages passengers to check in using the AirAsia MOVE app, which is available from 14 days up to one hour before departure. Passengers can already check in for flights within the festive period and receive their electronic boarding passes.
Counter check-in will be available only for passengers needing special assistance, such as those with reduced mobility, infants under 24 months, pregnant passengers, senior citizens, and unaccompanied minors. Pregnant passengers beyond 27 weeks must provide a medical certificate.
For those requiring wheelchair assistance, AirAsia advises pre-booking the service via the AirAsia MOVE app at least four hours before departure.
Additionally, passengers on international flights can upload or take a photo of their visa through the AirAsia MOVE app to receive a complete boarding pass for a more streamlined boarding process.
