The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has announced the 2025 Travel Expo, set to take place at the SETEC in Seoul’s Gangnam district from March 27 to 30. Organized in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Association, the expo marks its 22nd edition, continuing a tradition that began in 2004. The event has attracted over 2.2 million visitors throughout its history.
Under the theme “Play travel, Replay regions,” the 2025 Travel Expo will feature 120 agencies and travel businesses with more than 260 booths, offering a wealth of travel information and showcasing the diverse attractions from across South Korea.
A highlight of the expo will be the ‘Jutopia’ hall, located in the second exhibition hall, where 18 breweries from six regions will promote unique tourism experiences. These will include traditional liquor-making demonstrations and tastings, offering visitors an immersive look at local culture. Additionally, renowned artisans will host dessert-making events, providing another opportunity to explore South Korea’s culinary traditions. The Jutopia hall promises to appeal not only to traditional liquor enthusiasts but also to travelers eager to discover hidden gems and the gourmet culture of the country’s regions.
