Loganair Joins Avios Network, Making Flights More Affordable for Travelers

by Mary

Loganair, the regional airline based in Scotland, has made a significant change to its frequent flyer program by adopting Avios as its new miles currency. This transition, effective from March 31, 2025, replaces the airline’s former Clan Points program, offering exciting new opportunities for frequent travelers.

As part of this update, Avios can now be transferred between British Airways’ Executive Club and Loganair’s rebranded loyalty program, Logan Loyalty. This enhancement allows travelers to accumulate and redeem miles more easily across both airlines, simplifying the overall travel experience.

A major highlight of the new Avios partnership is the low number of points required to book Loganair flights. Regardless of the flight’s duration, the maximum redemption cost for any Loganair flight is just 6,500 Avios, plus taxes and fees. This presents an affordable way to explore the UK, particularly on regional routes that can often be expensive when purchased with cash.

Avios, a widely recognized miles currency, is transferable between several major airlines, including British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Finnair, Qatar Airways, and Vueling. With Loganair’s inclusion in the network starting March 31, 2025, travelers can now use Avios points not only on Loganair flights but also on British Airways flights and other partner airlines, enhancing flexibility and travel options.
