American Airlines is expanding its winter flight options for 2024, offering new routes to destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana, Hawaii, South America, and Europe. These additions provide travelers with more choices for their winter getaways.
As spring unfolds, planning for next winter’s vacation is easier than ever with American Airlines. Later this year, the airline will introduce new flights to Cancun, Mexico (CUN), and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ), while also expanding services to Hawaii, South America, and Europe.
This winter, American Airlines will operate over 270 peak daily departures to popular beach destinations across Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America, offering more options than any other airline. Starting November 8, American will make history as the first airline to launch international flights from Oklahoma, with a new route from Oklahoma City (OKC) to Cancun (CUN).
American will become the top choice for travelers heading to Cancun, offering more than 40 peak-day flights from 19 U.S. cities starting in November. Travelers can enjoy Cancun’s stunning beaches, rich culture, and vibrant cuisine.
In a fun twist, Punta Cana won the top spot in American’s March Map-ness bracket. Beginning December 6, the airline will introduce four new routes to this popular vacation destination. With over 20 peak-day flights to 11 U.S. cities, American Airlines is making it easier than ever to plan the perfect winter escape.
