Jetline Travel Collapses, Leaving Thousands of Holidaymakers Stranded

by Mary

The travel industry has been rocked by the sudden collapse of Jetline Travel, a London-based holiday provider that ceased trading in March 2025. The company’s downfall has left thousands of British travelers facing canceled bookings and uncertainty, especially for those with plans for Easter and the summer season.

Jetline, a trusted name in affordable holiday packages for 25 years, stopped operating as an ATOL holder on March 28. Administrators Alan Clark and Neil Bennett were appointed to manage the company’s assets. The collapse has caused disruption for nearly 5,000 passengers, with many now uncertain about the fate of their upcoming trips.

The company’s focus on low-cost cruises and accommodation-only bookings made it popular with budget-conscious holidaymakers. However, its closure has affected not only those with bookings for future holidays but also around 800 upcoming reservations and 20 customers currently abroad who face potential cancellations or significant disruptions to their travel plans.

Travelers are left with few options as Jetline Travel is no longer covered under ATOL protection, raising questions about refunds and how the remaining holidays will be handled.
