Club Med, in partnership with Air Canada, has invited six of its top travel agent partners from Australia to experience the charm of Club Med Québec Charlevoix during its 2024 VIP Trip. The initiative aims to highlight the resort’s offerings, expanding beyond the well-known Club Med ski resorts in Japan and Europe.
The six-day VIP Trip began with an exhilarating experience on the slopes, where agents got a firsthand look at Club Med Québec Charlevoix’s seamless ski operations and stunning panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River. The journey continued with an exclusive brand immersion session, providing travel agents with an early glimpse into Club Med’s latest developments.
Lisa Bacon, Head of Trade Sales for Club Med Pacific, expressed excitement about hosting the Australian Diamond travel agent partners, noting the success of Australian sales in the global Club Med ski market. “With Australia being one of our top four markets for ski sales, this trip was a great opportunity to familiarize our agents with a lesser-known yet incredible destination in our portfolio,” she said.
The trip also shed light on Québec Charlevoix, which has seen a 148% increase in sales for the 2025/2026 ski season. Despite this success, many agents were unaware of the resort’s presence in Canada. Bacon emphasized the year-round appeal of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, which offers spring skiing and activities like hiking, biking, and whale watching in the summer, making it a compelling choice for travelers year-round.
