Several countries have expanded their travel advisories in response to ongoing far-right riots across the United Kingdom. The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kenya, and India have recently joined Nigeria, Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia in cautioning their nationals about the escalating situation.
The Kenyan High Commission in London announced on Tuesday that it is closely monitoring the “social unrest” spreading across various UK cities. The commission advised Kenyan citizens residing in the UK and Northern Ireland to remain vigilant and adhere to local authorities’ guidance. Additionally, it encouraged Kenyans to register on its official website for updates.
India has also issued a travel advisory urging its nationals to exercise heightened caution amidst the unrest. The advisory recommends staying informed through local news and security updates and avoiding areas affected by protests and rioting.
Similarly, the UAE has issued a cautionary statement advising its citizens to be cautious due to the ongoing security issues related to the riots.
Previously, Nigeria, Malaysia, Australia, and Indonesia had already issued travel warnings regarding the UK situation.
