In an effort to showcase Korea’s rural charm, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has introduced 11 specially curated travel packages aimed at foreign tourists. These new offerings are designed to provide visitors with an immersive experience of Korea’s scenic countryside.

One of the highlights is the “8 Days Easy Trek and Trip of Eastern Korea and Oceans,” which includes activities such as hiking the rugged trails of Mount Seorak in Seocho, Gangwon Province. This package, like others in the series, allows travelers to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Korea.

The initiative is part of a collaborative effort with the Visit Korea Committee, a tourism-focused organization. Each travel package is centered around popular themes and covers seven provinces, as well as the metropolitan cities of Daegu and Busan. With trips lasting up to eight days, these packages offer a comprehensive look at Korea’s diverse landscapes and local experiences.
