Labor Day Weekend Travel Winds Down at XNA

XNA — As Labor Day weekend concludes, ABC News reports that 17 million Americans are expected to have traveled by air from Thursday, August 29, to Wednesday, September 4.

Travelers at XNA Airport on Monday afternoon described their experiences as relatively smooth, though they noted increased delays over the weekend.

Passenger Koopman reported a delay early Monday morning due to the pilot’s insufficient rest. “I received a notification that, according to regulations, the pilot had not had adequate sleep, which caused a one-hour delay,” Koopman said. “I’d prefer such delays over other issues.”
