Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, the parent company of Crystal Cruises, is exploring the possibility of an initial public offering (IPO) and is evaluating listings in various locations, according to a company spokesperson. This development follows a report by the UK’s Telegraph, which indicates that A&K has initiated discussions with bankers about an IPO expected within the next 18 to 24 months.
CEO Cristina Levis shared with the Telegraph that she envisions the IPO as a strategic move to position A&K Travel Group as ‘the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy of luxury experiential travel.’
