Corporate Travel Expenditure in AU/NZ Set to Surge by 42% in FY25, FCTG Reports

According to Flight Centre Travel Group’s (FCTG) inaugural State of the Market global survey, corporate travel spending in Australia and New Zealand is projected to rise by 42% in the fiscal year 2025. The survey reveals that 40% of Australian businesses plan to increase their travel activities, while 42% of corporate travelers intend to boost their travel budgets compared to the previous year.

FCTG Corporate conducted the survey with over 500 FCM Travel and Corporate Traveller clients across various regions to gauge future travel intentions. Despite economic stagnation, both Australian and New Zealand businesses are aligning with global trends, with nearly 40% of FCTG corporate clients anticipating more business trips and higher travel expenditures in FY25 compared to FY24.
