World Travel Holdings has announced that franchisees of its Dream Vacations and CruiseOne brands have fully repaid the $1 million COVID-19 stimulus loan provided to them.
Drew Daly, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dream Vacations and CruiseOne, praised the franchisees for their resilience. “World Travel Holdings stepped up to the plate for our franchisees, ensuring that those in need received the support necessary to weather the storm,” Daly stated. He highlighted that the complete repayment of the loan by all participating franchisees underscores their remarkable recovery and the broader industry’s resurgence.
Sharon Grant, President of the Dream Vacations and CruiseOne Advisory Council, noted the program’s success as a testament to the strong community spirit within the franchise network. Although Grant did not personally apply for the loan, she recognized its vital role in helping many small business owners sustain their ventures during challenging times.
