During our recent family holiday in Albania, we discovered a surprisingly welcoming atmosphere for families, despite some areas being rustic.
As we settled into our family-run hotel in the charming village of Qeparo, our son Finley was instantly embraced by a local named Manuel, who joyfully exclaimed, “Good morning my friend! I’ve missed you!” The two engaged in a playful chase that filled the restaurant with Finley’s delighted laughter.
With stunning white pebbled beaches, azure waters, and picturesque views of Greece, Qeparo offers a relaxing escape enriched by delicious, locally sourced cuisine. Yet, what truly captivated us was how our two-year-old son was not only accepted but celebrated at every turn, a contrast to our previous experience traveling with him as a baby.
