Delta Air Lines has announced plans for its largest-ever transatlantic summer schedule, introducing new routes from major European destinations including Dublin, Sicily, Rome, Milan, Brussels, Barcelona, and Athens.
Starting in May 2025, Delta will launch a new service connecting Detroit to Dublin, operating four times a week. This addition will enhance existing Dublin routes from Atlanta, Boston, New York-JFK, and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The airline is also increasing its service to Italy by over 10%, adding a daily flight from New York-JFK to Catania, Sicily. Other new routes include four weekly flights from Atlanta to Naples, Minneapolis-St. Paul to Rome, and Boston to Milan, all set to begin in May 2025.
In addition to these expansions, Delta will broaden its transatlantic offerings to Athens, Zurich, and Munich.
Travelers flying from key U.S. hubs will benefit from upgraded experiences, including the introduction of exclusive Delta One Lounges, increased premium seating on A330-900 and A350-900 aircraft, and complimentary international Wi-Fi.
The rollout of transatlantic flights will occur on a route-by-route basis, with plans for the entire global fleet to be equipped with free Wi-Fi by the end of 2025.
