Marriott Bonvoy®, Marriott International’s leading travel program, has strengthened its loyalty partnership with Aeroplan, Canada’s premier travel loyalty program operated by Air Canada. This enhanced collaboration builds on their longstanding relationship, offering travelers increased value and benefits across a vast network of over 30 brands and 10,000 global destinations.
As part of this expanded partnership, Aeroplan members with 50K, 75K, and Super Elite statuses will now receive complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status. In return, Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite members will enjoy complimentary Aeroplan 25K Status. Members can access these benefits by linking their Marriott Bonvoy and Aeroplan accounts. Additionally, Aeroplan Elite Status members can convert their Aeroplan points to Marriott Bonvoy points at a 1:1 ratio, enhancing flexibility in point usage. Marriott Bonvoy members also retain the option to convert points to Aeroplan points at a 3:1 ratio, further enriching their travel experiences.
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite members can benefit from exclusive perks such as priority late checkout, enhanced room upgrades, and a 25% bonus on Marriott Bonvoy points for qualifying stays. Meanwhile, Aeroplan 25K Status members enjoy priority services at airports, including priority check-in and boarding, two complimentary checked bags, eUpgrade credits, and exclusive offers.
“Marriott Bonvoy members are passionate about exploring cultures worldwide, and our partnership with Aeroplan makes aspirational destinations more accessible and enjoyable,” said David Flueck, Senior Vice President, Global Head of Loyalty, Cards, and Enterprise Partnerships at Marriott International. “Through partnerships like Aeroplan and our growing portfolio of global properties, we aim to deliver greater value and enhanced travel experiences for our members.”
