The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) unveiled its “Together in Travel” initiative during the recent 2024 Global Summit held in Perth, Western Australia.
First announced at last year’s summit, this initiative aims to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the global travel and tourism sector by offering vital support and resources.
The “Together in Travel” platform is designed to equip SMEs with essential tools to foster business growth and amplify their voices on an international stage.
During the summit, WTTC President & CEO Julia Simpson emphasized the critical role of SMEs in the travel and tourism industry, highlighting that millions of small enterprises deliver services to customers, drive innovation, and provide local insights that benefit larger partners.
