Hong Kong Extends Multi-Entry Visa for Non-Permanent Residents to Five Years

by Mary

In a strategic move to enhance its appeal to foreign investors, Hong Kong has announced the extension of multi-entry visas for non-permanent residents holding foreign passports, allowing visits to mainland China for up to five years. This initiative, introduced by Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu, aims to bolster the city’s status as an international trading hub by encouraging more foreigners to establish businesses in Hong Kong.

Additionally, during his policy address, Lee revealed plans to implement further tax concessions aimed at attracting maritime services companies and commodity traders, reinforcing the city’s competitive edge in shipping and trade.
