Cruiseabout, the growing cruise travel brand, is set to double its business in 2025 with the opening of three new stores, marking an exciting new chapter for the company. The expansion includes Cruiseabout’s first store in New South Wales at Narellan and a third store in Queensland at North Lakes, both of which will help further solidify the brand’s footprint across Australia.
Brad Kennedy, General Manager of Cruiseabout, celebrated the brand’s first successful year of operations, calling the new openings the perfect way to close an exceptional 2024. “Next year will see further growth as we effectively double the size of our current business by welcoming our first New South Wales store in Narellan and a third Queensland store at North Lakes,” Kennedy said.
With existing stores in Adelaide, Perth, and the Gold Coast, the new locations will broaden Cruiseabout’s reach, allowing the brand to better serve customers in these key areas. “Cruising remains the fastest-growing sector in the travel industry, so we know we are investing in a strong future for this brand,” Kennedy added.
For 2025, Cruiseabout’s goal is to continue matching customers with their perfect cruises while showing more Australians why cruising is one of the best holiday options. To support its growth, the company plans to expand its team and is actively seeking cruise specialists to join its ranks.
“We’ll be looking to welcome a contingent of cruise specialists to the team over the coming months, so I’d encourage anyone looking for a new opportunity to reach out and keep an eye on the exciting developments to come,” Kennedy said.
Kelsey McColl, the Team Leader for the new Carindale store, expressed her excitement for the expansion. With eight years of experience in Flight Centre stores across Queensland, McColl is eager to take on this new challenge with Cruiseabout. “I love cruising, so it just made sense to focus on my specialty and be a part of the emerging brand’s future,” McColl said. “Helping my customers find the right cruise and supporting my team to do the same is something I’m genuinely passionate about.”
Cruiseabout’s parent company, Flight Centre Travel Group, has seen a 20% increase in cruise booking values year-on-year, further emphasizing the growing demand for cruising. The company is committed to prioritizing cruise bookings as a key strategic growth area across its global offerings.
