Boracay, Panglao, Puerto Princesa, and Cebu are expected to be the most popular travel destinations in the Philippines this Christmas season, with many tourists planning to stay until New Year’s, according to an AirAsia official.
Internationally, top destinations include Incheon in South Korea, Osaka in Japan, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, said AirAsia Philippines spokesperson Steve Dailisan.
AirAsia Philippines is anticipating around 300,000 passengers between December 16, 2024, and January 6, 2025.
Dailisan also shared some important travel reminders. Families traveling together must fill out individual e-travel forms for each member, rather than a single form for the entire group. Passengers are advised to arrive at the boarding gates early, as they close 20 minutes before departure.
Additionally, travelers are reminded not to pack flammable liquids in their luggage and to keep electronic gadgets with lithium batteries in their carry-ons.
