Gatwick Airport has extended flight restrictions for the fourth consecutive day due to heavy fog, leading to significant disruptions for travelers. The airport confirmed that more than 20 flights scheduled for Monday have been cancelled, with passengers warned to expect ongoing delays.
Among the cancelled flights are several easyJet services from Geneva, Nice, and Rennes, as well as a British Airways flight from Algiers. The continued poor visibility has caused widespread travel disruptions, with further delays anticipated throughout the day.
Airport officials have urged passengers to check with their airlines for updates and advised travelers to allow extra time for their journeys.
