by Mary

Snow showers are expected to persist across central New York on Thursday, with hazardous travel conditions likely on major roads. Oneida County, including Point Rock, reported up to 16 inches of snow as of Tuesday night, with additional accumulation expected.

The National Weather Service in Binghamton warns that snow showers and squalls could add another 2 inches of snow from Wednesday night into Thursday. Cold temperatures, ranging from 13°F overnight to a high of 25°F on Thursday, will contribute to icy and slippery road conditions.
