Starting April 2, 2025, Emirates will increase its flights between Dubai and Antananarivo, Madagascar, from four to six weekly services. This expansion is in response to growing demand and supports Madagascar’s tourism objectives, aiming to attract 1 million visitors by 2028.
The new service operates daily, except Mondays, with flights connecting Dubai and Antananarivo via Mahé. The flight schedule is as follows (local time):
EK707 (DXB/SEZ): Depart 08:55 | Arrive 13:35
EK707 (SEZ/TNR): Depart 15:05 | Arrive 16:50
EK708 (TNR/SEZ): Depart 18:35 | Arrive 22:20

Emirates is committed to promoting Madagascar’s unique biodiversity and three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which are expected to boost tourism numbers. The airline’s efforts also include familiarization trips for 32 travel agencies from key feeder markets.
The expansion will also enhance cargo capacity, with 20 tonnes of belly-hold capacity per flight, opening more opportunities for trade. The strengthened air connectivity links Madagascar to over 140 global destinations through Emirates’ vast network, with top outbound destinations including France, UAE, Seychelles, and Japan.
