Raffles Sentosa Singapore is set to open on March 1, marking a new chapter for the iconic Raffles brand, which was founded in Singapore in 1887 with the opening of Raffles Singapore. Located on the lush Sentosa Island, the resort sits within 100,000 square meters of tropical greenery and is the first GSTC-certified island destination in Asia. Just a 15-minute drive from Singapore’s Central Business District, the resort offers a tranquil hilltop setting surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, the general manager of both Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, described the resort as “an enchanting sanctuary,” blending nature, heritage, and wellness with Raffles’ renowned hospitality. He added that the resort would be an ideal place for private retreats, family gatherings, and special celebrations.
Designed by Yabu Pushelberg, Raffles Sentosa Singapore will feature 62 villas, ranging from one-bedroom villas at 210 square meters to the expansive four-bedroom Royal Villa at 650 square meters. Each villa includes a private pool and outdoor terrace, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the lush surroundings. Guests will also enjoy the legendary Raffles Butler service, ensuring a luxurious stay.
With a strong emphasis on wellness, the resort’s spa is housed in a restored heritage building and features 13 treatment rooms. The resort will also offer a stunning new venue for weddings and events, with two state-of-the-art ballrooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 400 guests.
