A new Pilot Travel Center officially opened Wednesday morning at exit 42 on I-40 in Fayette County, just 12 miles away from the popular Buc-ee’s travel center.
“This is the biggest Pilot Travel Center we’ve ever built in the history of our company in over 68 years,” said Jimmy Fleming, Director of Operations, encouraging visitors to capture the moment.

The grand opening event was attended by executives from Pilot Company, as well as local dignitaries from Fayette and Haywood Counties, who got an exclusive preview of the new facility.
