The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has officially launched VeriVacation, a new platform designed to connect consumers with ASTA Verified Travel Advisors (VTAs).
ASTA initially soft-launched VeriVacation in December, allowing travel advisors to explore the platform and update their profiles. Now, with a consumer awareness campaign in full swing, ASTA is introducing the public to the new service. The Society is running two professional commercials across digital platforms, supported by one of the largest marketing campaigns in ASTA’s history.
“These ads emphasize the importance of verifying the credentials of anyone claiming to be a travel advisor—particularly in a time when travel scams and misinformation are increasingly common,” ASTA said in a statement. “In an industry with minimal regulation, where anyone can call themselves a travel advisor, VeriVacation offers consumers a trusted solution by connecting them with professionals who meet ASTA’s gold standard.”
