Travelers at Bangor International Airport (BGR) are facing disruptions as winter weather continues to affect flights.
Lloyd Stalbaum, who was traveling to Pennsylvania, shared his frustrating experience: “I was supposed to leave this morning at 5:30, but that got canceled due to the snow. Then, they put me on a flight to Philly at noon, and that got canceled too, because of the snow. Now, I’m on a 3:30 flight and hoping it goes smoothly so I can finally leave.”
Jenny Mechtel, who was headed to Maine, also experienced delays. “We had to delay our trip by a day because of the weather yesterday. We got rebooked on a flight this morning, but we had to fly through LaGuardia, and the winds in New York are really strong right now,” she said.
In addition to flight disruptions, some travelers have faced treacherous conditions on the road, with slick surfaces causing lengthy drives.
