The Dennis Police Department has been informed by the Yarmouth Police Department about an upcoming closure of the Bass River Bridge to accommodate wastewater project work on the Yarmouth side of the bridge. The closure is set to begin on Monday, March 3, 2025.
According to the Yarmouth Police Department, the construction will take place on Route 28, east of Old Main/North Main Street. The project is expected to last several weeks. Route 28 will be closed only during construction hours, typically from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The road will be repaved each night to minimize disruptions.
