AirAsia is once again offering affordable airfares, especially during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations. For this festive season, the airline is providing over 16,000 seats on more than 90 late-night flights with fixed fares between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.
From March 28 to April 5, 2025, travelers can book one-way flights at fixed fares between Kuala Lumpur and Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, or Miri, as well as between Johor Bahru and Kuching or Sibu. In addition, flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, or Tawau, and between Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu, are also available at fixed one-way fares.
The promotion is available for booking until April 5, 2025.
In addition to the 90+ late-night flights on 10 routes between Peninsular and East Malaysia, AirAsia will continue to operate 287 weekly flights at regular fares to Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan to support the government’s festive season travel initiative.
YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport, emphasized the government’s dedication to making air travel affordable and accessible for all Malaysians. “The Government is committed to ensuring that air travel remains within reach for everyone, especially during festive seasons. Programs like the fixed-fare subsidy and the FLYsiswa initiative are designed to ease the financial burden on travelers, particularly students commuting between Peninsular and East Malaysia.”
He added, “Working together with AirAsia, we prioritize the well-being of Malaysians, ensuring fair and reasonable airfares. AirAsia’s fixed-fare offer for Hari Raya will allow more people to reunite with their families without financial strain. This collaboration between the government and the airline industry demonstrates our shared commitment to serving the people, especially during peak travel times.”
